1. Too much or too little of a nutrient A red line in the "Nutrients" box of the ration window signifies a nutrient outside the optimal area. Doubleclick the line to obtain more information on the tab Information about ration. You will find a detailed analysis of the ration, the contribution of each feed to the ration total, and information about possible consequences of the imbalance and how it can be corrected.
2. Requirements and nutrients in ration The tab provides a graphic presentation of the analysis of nutrient coverage relative to the horses requirements.
3. Contribution to nutrients in the diet The tab provides a graphic presentation of the analysis of how the individual feeds in the ration contribute to each of the nutrients. As you get trained in formulating diets, you will learn which feeds will best in providing nutrients that may be in short supply in the diet.
